They are built on the principle of honouring traditional building techniques while maintaining modern design for every-day luxury. Whittington believes firmly in preserving the art of making furniture fully by hand. Each piece is made completely in-house by craftspeople in Mississauga.

Customization
Whittington is highly recognized for their ability to customize products to clients’ unique tastes and needs. Because Whittington products are manufactured in-house from start to finish, the company has full control of every part of the process. This enables clients to customize everything from the frame down to the stitching. Whittington’s team can even provide shop drawings upon request for custom projects.
Traditional Craftsmanship
All of Whittington’s standard and custom furniture is made using 100% hardwood frames, high density and high resilience soy-based foam, and cotton felt batting for comfort and durability They also offer multiple suspension methods, such as traditional eight-way hand-tied, sinuous spring systems, and Pirelli webbing. What's more, the entire company produces and manufactures out of one location in order to ensure optimal quality control.
Legacy
Whittington is among the country’s most prestigious upholstery lines, so it's no surprise that their pieces have found homes in Canadian Embassies worldwide, such as in Dubai and The Hague in Copenhagen. Whiting & Company furniture has even made it to the high seas on the ultra-exclusive The World cruise by Residencesea, the largest privately owned residential yacht in the world. So, when you sit on a Whittington sofa, you are guaranteed to feel like royalty.
